Leading lighting manufacturer Ansell Lighting has extended its popular XPRESS capability across two further product ranges.

Designed to speed up installation and simplify retrofit upgrades, Ansell has applied the XPRESS clip-in system – which enables emergency and microwave sensor functionality to be added quickly and easily to standard products – to its Disco EVO bulkhead and Nouline batten.

The updated products feature clearly labelled gear trays with dedicated press and clip connection points, allowing XPRESS Emergency Pack and XPRESS Microwave Sensors to be installed in seconds.

Developed to give installers more flexibility and to speed up project upgrades, XPRESS removes the need for tools – the packs are simply pushed into place and the wires connected.

Hugely beneficial for wholesalers too, Ansell’s new XPRESS system enables them to reduce the number of SKUs they need to hold without limiting customer choice. By stocking the standard Disco EVO XPRESS and Nouline XPRESS products alongside the separate clip-in packs, customers still have the freedom to add emergency or sensor functionality as and when needed.

Nouline XPRESS is a high performance LED batten designed for indoor use, available in three lengths and offering CCT and power selectability with multiple conduit entry and BESA fixing points. It features a high transmittance polycarbonate diffuser, delivering excellent light uniformity and ensuring consistent illumination and glare reduction.

The Disco EVO XPRESS is a slim, modern bulkhead, suitable for residential, commercial and industrial applications as well as ancillary areas, which offers 145lm/W, CCT selectable between 3000K, 4000K and 6500K, and a choice of three outputs in one luminaire. Available with an opal diffuser and white trim ring, with optional chrome, satin chrome or graphite trim ring accessories.
