Leading supplier of LED lamps, Well-lit, has brought the first ever range of flexible LED filament bulbs using patented dim to warm technology, to the market.
By using a flexible LED filament, the colour temperature of the new range of dim to warm LED bulbs can be smoothly transitioned from 2800k at its brightest to 2000k.
Primarily aimed at commercial settings, the new bulb will allow for a change in colour temperature, and therefore ambience and scene, simply by dimming.
This offers significant benefits across many sectors, including the hospitality industry, where lighting for breakfast and lunch may be brighter than that required for evening sittings.
As the first company in the world to bring flexible LED filament bulbs to the market, back in 2016, innovation and the launch of new technology to the lighting industry is part of Well-lit’s offering.
This attractive track spot is available in a range of body and baffle colours making it
perfect for most environments. The inbuilt driver maintains its minimal design while
the bespoke heatsink housing ensure long lifetime. The high performance
Lumileds LED chip and polycarbonate optics provide a range of Beam angles and
CCT and CRI outputs.

With its curved profile and dust limiting wipe clean diffuser, the LED Municipal from Fitzgerald Lighting has been designed as a contemporary and attractive solution for education and healthcare establishments.
As one of the leaders in LED luminaires, Fitzgerald Lighting has developed the LED Municipal with a constant output driver that uses colour temperature 850 as standard (830, 840 and 865 also available) for commercial applications and saves users an impressive 66% in energy costs.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the LED Municipal is a durable luminaire designed for use in hospitals, schools, colleges and universities, receptions, corridors and walkways. Manufactured from mild steel in a white finish as standard, it has a stylish curved body shape and for extra security and tamper resistance, the diffuser is rigidly held in place by a screw fixed polycarbonate end cap. Designed for surface and optional corner mounting, the LED Municipal luminaire makes maintenance easy with its control gear tray being fully removable. Optional features can be specified including 1–10V dimming, DALI dimming and integral 3-hour maintained emergency lighting.
Made to IP44 and carrying a five year warranty, the LED Municipal comes in five power ratings of 11W, 22W, 33W, 44W and 66W with up to 8166 lumens. The luminaires are designed to be quite compact at just 185mm wide and 100mm deep and range from 630mm to 1830mm long.
Further specification options are available, including a night light option or microwave sensing for additional energy saving. Savings can be further increased to 87% with the microwave sensor assuming 20% occupancy in a corridor and a luminaire running at 10% light level when the area is unoccupied.
Further information on the LED Municipal luminaire is available from Fitzgerald Lighting on 01208 79524, by emailing info@fitzlight.co.uk or by visiting the company’s website at www.fitzlight.co.uk
LED Neon is an extremely flexible direct lighting solution. The 24v system is IP67 rated, producing a seamless light of up to 5m long. The LED Neon contains an impressive 300 individual LEDs per metre, to give that linear light effect. With a power consumption of just 12w per metre, >95 CRI rated Samsung Chips, this is an outstanding solution to many lighting projects. The LED Neon is completely bespoke and exact customer length specifications can be made to order. The product can be dimmed 0-10v, DALI or with DMX if you want to use the RGB Version. Call or email for more information.
With a huge range of LED Ribbons available (Over 100+ Varieties), these include the standard ribbons that everyone uses, but also, some specialist ribbons designed for exacting customer requirements. Ribbons are now available with 3300 Lumens per metre, 150 Lumens per LED. There are ribbons that are Submersible, bend round curves, bend round corners and all shapes. Micro ribbons, just 5mm wide. Quad RGBW Chips, 4 in 1 Chipset. We have extremely closed pitch rates for instantaneous linear light. A wide range of control options and profiles. Call or email for more information.
CP Electronics, the UK’s leading manufacturer of lighting control products, has launched a series of six-channel hardwired lighting control modules (LCMs) under its fully addressable and networkable RAPID range. The latest additions give specifiers, building owners and lighting consultants further flexibility to deliver sophisticated lighting control systems to reduce energy costs.
Each LCM can be supplied as DIN rail modules or mounted within a DIN rail enclosure. They provide a flexible solution for the control of lighting loads where a traditional 10-way lighting control module (LCM) may not be practical.
The hardwired LCMs can handle both switching and dimming of luminaires, across six individually addressable outputs with three-phase capability, for fully independent control. Two versions are available, to suit DALI/DSI broadcast (BR-DIN-LCM6-6-DD) and 1-10V analogue channels (EBR-DIN-LCM6-6-AD).
As part of the RAPID system, multiple LCMs can be installed for specific floors or areas, all linked to the central controller for effective building-wide lighting control. The LCMs also incorporate patented RAPID Energy Measurement technology as an option for measuring the energy consumption of all luminaires connected to the LCM. The technology is exclusive to the next generation of RAPID products and monitors actual energy usage data. Reports can be delivered via a web-based reporting suite or in XML format if the user prefers a third-party analytics tool.
“Hardwired is ideal for buildings where space is limited, or the building fabric has minimal focal points for wiring. By providing six-channel LCMs, including a DALI network version, we can give specifiers and lighting contractors more flexibility to commission lighting control exactly as they want it,” explains John Mercer, Senior Product Manager at CP Electronics.
“With the wider benefits of RAPID – including intelligent control, integrated switching and dimming, energy measurement – we can add tangible value to end users by minimising the energy costs associated with lighting.”
